The little socks are here! Yay! 🧦🥰

You may have seen something already in my stories... If not, here's the story: Ingrid (@ingrid68) showed baby sock blockers in her feed and mentioned that there are no babies amongst her family and friends to knit little socks for... I took the plunge and asked her if she would be so kind to knit a pair for the little feet in the house. And she said yes!

We tried them on this morning and they're perfect. Thank you so much dear Ingrid! They are so darn cute 🩵!

On a side note... The little feet are eight months old now... How can they be be eight months old already? 🥰

The placemats are made using the free Musing pattern by @artgalleryfabrics. The beautiful spring colours of the #agfevolve fabrics by @suzyquilts for Art Gallery Fabrics are perfect for this little project. They create instant joy on the table!

I created a video tutorial in German for this pattern for the subscription-based community @naehgang and I've seen lovely versions being made already!

Today, the patchwork project for March has been published in the Nähgang (a German online sewing community). I'm delighted to be able to guide the members through this month's project which is the Musing placemat, a freebie from @artgalleryfabrics. I chose the beautiful fabrics from the Evolve collection by @suzyquilts for Art Gallery Fabrics for my placemats.

Hello 2024! I know, the year's over a month old al

Hello 2024! I know, the year's over a month old already... I very much like a slow start into the new year and January is usually a month where I hibernate a little. Well, it wasn't very quiet with the little boy! Days and weeks fly by!

I'm going to try to be a little creative at night when the little one is asleep. I've started a little cardigan for him a little while ago. Hurray for small projects! 🤗 Even those take long!

This #topnine2023 sums up my year quite well. There weren't many posts in my feed and there was not a lot of crafting. The little man, featured 3,5 times here, combined with moving to another country (and an extra move there) are the reason for that. I don't mind, although I hope that there will be a bit more time for crafting in the new year. For sanity 😉.

And suddenly it's Christmas! It's like the year just started last week!

We've been busy with preparations up until a few hours ago. We didn't even mange to to unwrap the presents (what we usually do on Christmas Eve). The little man was already asleep! So, that's postponed to tomorrow!

Of course, an almost five months old baby doesn't probably care, but hey, we do!

One more because chubby baby feet are just too cute!

Our midwife was happy with the gift and, without knowing, I picked her favourite colour! I wanted the carrier to be gender neutral and therefore picked yellow for the lining and that turned out to be her favourite colour. Mission accomplished I'd say! 👌🏻🥰

I used three different prints from @missmelodymiller Curio collection for @rubystarsociety. The piping is a matching #agfpuresolids by @artgalleryfabrics. Fabrics from @dasmachichnachts. Pattern is Wiegetuch (in German) by @jessy_sewing.
