Snow always puts a smile on my face face and I was excited to see that we had a little bit of snow during the night. ❄️❄️❄️

So, our plans for this morning were simple: we went out for a long walk. The little was snuggly tied to my tummy and the four-legged one had a lot of fun!

Time just for me is rare currently with the little

Time just for me is rare currently with the little man. I enjoy the time with him a lot, but I admit that I miss these moments of creativity. I know that it'll change again, but especially when times are stressful some me-time restores the balance.

So, I'm very happy that my husband took over baby duty on a Sunday and granted me time with my sewing machine. I made a gift for our midwife! She uses portable scales to weigh the babies when she makes her housecalls. Her old bag was a bit small for the older babies and I decided to make her a new and bigger one.

I used three different prints from @missmelodymiller Curio collection for @rubystarsociety. The piping is a matching #agfpuresolids by @artgalleryfabrics. Fabrics from @dasmachichnachts. Pattern is Wiegetuch (in German) by @jessy_sewing. Custom made label by @dortex.

It's ten years ago that Annette @myrosevalley desi

It's ten years ago that Annette @myrosevalley designed and published the pattern for her famous #nordicshawl. It's also one of my oldest and dearest crochet projects.

I made the shawl to wear it on my wedding day. We got married in Provence, France and I figured that I would need something to throw around my shoulders in the evening.

The shawl is still in use, but more as a mini blanket on the sofa in front of the TV.

These little feet are three months old already! 💙

It's been awfully quiet here... We're doing well. The days just fly by!

This photo is from a few weeks ago (from when the weather was still really warm) and I can report that both the little feet and the knitting have grown in the meantime!

Working on the i-cord bind-off along the edges....

Thank you so much for your likes, comments and messages after my previous post!

Days are flying by and there's not a lot that I manage to do. Those little feet require a lot of my time and attention. And I'm more than happy to give him all the attention he needs (and more 💙)!

I'm knitting the Travel Mode Baby Blanket by Susanne Sommer and my plan was to be finished by the time those little feet came into our lives. Well, that plan didn't work out 😂! So, im adding a few rows here and there when we're both taking some time to rest....

Just over two weeks ago, our son was born! 💙 After a rough start for me, we're both doing fine now.

Everything is different and new. We are taking our time and so slowly we are getting to know each other better and better.

These little hands are already gripping my finger tightly! He is such a lovely little guy! 🥰

Baby and I are still doing great, although baby is maybe doing more great that I am 😂! The energy levels are definitely dropping and that belly is in the way a lot of the time... (imagine putting on shoes...🙄)

I'm a bit quiet here on Instagram. Baby and I are doing well, we're just busy 😉. A lot is happening in the background and that means less time for creative things.
